“We wanted to show Columbus as a city rooted in the past yet rising as an influential major city, marching toward the future. The LeVeque Tower is an iconic staple is our city and we wanted that as our focal point is this design.
The wings on the LeVeque Tower represents Columbus as a progressive city rising to the challenges of the future. The five stars represent the five areas of the city, which are southeast, northeast, southwest, northwest, and downtown. We wanted this design for 614 Day to be special because Columbus is a special place to be.”
